Lt. Commander Laytan Farcree is a Pangotion scientist who developed a way to transport the nineteen planets of the Alliance from the center of galaxy to its rim. After successfully encapsulating all the planets, the Supreme Commander insisted every ship, even those holding planets, must help in a final attempt to end the Zantillis horde. When the battle goes bad, Laytan's ship takes deadly damage as they enter Void Space. In a desperate attempt to save their planet Pangot, Laytan and his pilot manage to slow a repair cutter back into normal space.
